    Ch. Dashitall's Miss Gwynn
Our little wild boar girl Gwynn is also from the Dashitall Kennel, and became our foundation bitch. She was shown to her championship, but took time out to have her first litter in 2000. Her next and last litter was in 2004. Gwynn gave us two lovely litters, and is now enjoying retirement. She’s a very gentle soul, but knows how to manipulate things to get her own way!

Ch. Dashitall P Toodle of Brochund
Polly is our ‘keeper’ girl out of Gwynn’s last litter. We started showing her as a puppy, and she quickly earned her Championship with many wins at both the breed and group levels. In ‘04 she was bred to Ch.Preludes Dream Come True from the Genson Kennel in NB. Polly whelped a litter of four pups, we kept one female out of this litter Polly whelped her second litter in ’07, being bred this time to Ch. Dashitall’s Nicholas Nickelby There were three pups, a male and a female have gone to show homes and are currently being shown.

Ch. Brochund's Sweet Seren
Seren is from our 2004 litter, from the breeding of Polly with Ch. Preludes Dream Come True. (Tanner) From the Genson Kennel in NB. She was the only female in this litter, and is the youngest of our MW females. Seren takes after her sire for color, the others were all wild boar. I think she’s the ‘cheekiest’ of our dachshunds, always first on the scene to chase birds out of ‘her’ yard, the first to greet visitors, and always ready to go for a walk, or be cuddled.

Ch. Ironwill's come Fly With Me.TT.
This is Ch. Ironwills’ Come Fly With Me, otherwise known as Skye.

For some time we'd wanted to have another Standard Smooth Dachshund, and had been searching for quite a while to get a nice female to show.

In the Spring of 2006 I was lucky enough to find Alice Carter of Ironwill Kennel’s in Alberta. Alice has been breeding dachshunds for many years, and has owned some of the top Standard Smooth dachshunds in Canada. I flew out to meet Alice, and brought Skye home with me. Skye has a wonderful personality, is a lot of fun, and is a very laid back sort of dog.
On her way to her CKC Championship (which she got in February '08 in Halifax) Skye earned several group placements and Best Puppy in group, she also got awarded 'Reserve Best Puppy in Show' at the Charlottetown shows. She passed her Temperament Test in '07. (TT) .

In May '08 she achieved her CFC Championship, plus one part toward her 'Elite" Championship, and we hope to finish that next year. Skye also enjoys Earthdog competitions!
